About The Role
The Growth Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key accounts in the designated region. This role involves understanding client needs, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction to drive retention. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, buyers and sellers, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Growth Strategy: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business within existing accounts, including upselling and cross-selling of products/services.
- Customer Retention: Implement strategies to retain existing clients, addressing their needs and concerns to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
- Customer implementation: Support onboarding process for new clients, including requirement analysis, product configuration, and providing training and support to ensure a smooth transition and successful implementation.
- Sales Targets: Achieve or exceed sales targets and objectives set for the region.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges within the region.
- Customer Feedback: Collect and analyse customer feedback to improve products, services, and overall customer experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account status, sales performance, and market trends for senior management.
- Training and Development: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices and participate in training programs as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in B2B or B2C sales / account management, preferably within the Automotive industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the region and some overnight as required.
- Customer-focused with a deep understanding of client needs and challenges.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex situations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
