What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in the development and evolution of our wholesale products and the new Movex digital experience. You'll collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions that create real business value. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and enhancing software applications using modern technologies and engineering practices
  • Contributing to the development of the new Movex website and associated platform services
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Reviewing and approving technical designs and code produced by other developers
  • Championing engineering excellence, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Identifying and resolving performance, scalability, and security issues
  • Supporting CI/CD and automated testing practices
  • Producing technical documentation for delivered solutions
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies and product discussions
  • Supporting integrations with third-party partners and suppliers
  • Sharing knowledge and mentoring colleagues across the engineering community
  • Helping shape the future technical direction of the platform

What We're Looking For

Strong software engineering background with hands-on experience in:

  • .NET
  • Azure
  • React
  • SQL Server
  • Cloud-based application development

Experience working within product-led organisations, delivering solutions in Agile and Lean environments, and designing, deploying, and operating cloud-native applications. A passion for building high-quality software and continuously improving engineering practices.

Technical Skills

Expertise In:

  • C# and .NET (ideally .NET 8)
  • SQL Server and Entity Framework
  • RESTful API design and development
  • CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (GitHub Actions preferred)
  • Unit testing and modern testing methodologies
