Battery Repair Manager

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily operations across battery diagnostics, repair, and refurbishment workflows.
  • Ensure all repaired batteries meet rigorous safety and quality standards.
  • Manage tooling, inventory, and technician scheduling to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Lead and develop a team of 3–15 battery repair technicians, fostering a culture of safety, precision, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Health & Safety, Engineering, and Customer teams to drive performance and innovation.
  • Monitor KPIs, report on repair throughput, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with high‑voltage EV batteries in automotive or energy sectors.
  • SAP‑level electrical qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge of lithium‑ion battery systems, fault diagnostics, and EV architecture.
  • Proven leadership in repair or production environments, with a focus on safety, quality, and team development.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
