Opportunity to join our developing team of skilled golf course greenkeepers.
You will assist the team in producing and developing our ever‑improving site and will be involved in all aspects of golf course maintenance.

Golf Club with an 18‑hole golf course, 9‑hole par 3 course, driving range, hospitality venue, holiday lodges, caravan site.
- What You’ll Do
- As an apprentice greenkeeper, you will be taught all aspects of golf course maintenance.
- Use hand‑held tools and powered tools and progress to ride‑on machinery.
- Perform all tasks required on the course, receiving training and opportunity on all aspects of the job.
- Extensively golf course based, may be asked to do some maintenance tasks around the clubhouse and other facilities within the greenkeeping team's remit.
- Daily golf course preparation including dew removal, moving tee markers, raking bunkers, changing holes, hand watering.
- Fertilisation strategies, weed control, disease and pest identification and control.
- Cutting greens, tees, fairways and rough using ride‑on machinery.
- Machinery maintenance including daily pre‑start checks, basic maintenance and an understanding of why these are so important.
- Learn the rules and etiquette associated with the game.
- Understand health and safety procedures needed by the greenkeepers and site users, and implement these daily.
- Training Outcome
A position within the greenkeeping team upon completion of the apprenticeship, with scope to gain further education and qualifications within the industry.
