Cowshed, a botanically-inspired British bath & body brand, was born in Somerset in 1998 as part of Soho House’s first country retreat. Crafted by a perfumier, it has grown primarily organically through strong distribution and brand awareness. Cowshed is now on a growth journey, with strong double digit growth in 2025 and a rebrand launching in May 2026.
We are hiring an eCommerce manager, reporting into the Digital Director and working closely with the Head of Growth, to drive online growth at Cowshed. This is a unique opportunity to scale a brand with strong brand awareness and create a best-in-class DTC and Amazon experience.
What You’ll Do
- Own eCommerce trading across DTC & Amazon to reach target conversion rate, AOV, and ACOS.
- Own the trading calendar across DTC and Amazon (supported by an Amazon agency).
- Plan and execute launches, seasonal moments, and promotions/offers.
- Forecast, track, and optimise ecommerce revenue and GM against targets.
- Monitor daily / weekly trading performance and react quickly.
Create a seamless customer journey using CRO (conversion rate target):
- Deep ownership of Conversion rate, AOV, and the customer journey.
- Analyse and optimise home page, PDPs, search, navigation, and checkout.
- Lead CRO roadmap and testing (A/B, UX improvements), in collaboration with Head of Growth and dev agency.
Drive CVR and AOV with strong analytics & insight:
- Highly analytical, comfortable working directly in GA4/TripleWhale, Shopify / Shopify Plus analytics, and Amazon Seller Central.
- Turn insight into clear commercial actions.
- Confident reporting performance, risks, and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
Manage the Amazon channel (ACOS target):
- Own Amazon trading performance in conjunction with an agency, covering catalogue health, PDP optimisation, content, pricing, promotions, and conversion/buy box performance.
- Manage Amazon Ads performance (with an agency).
Who you are
- An experienced Amazon and DTC manager (5–7 years). Shopify experience is a must (Shopify Plus even better). Beauty experience is not.
- A highly analytical person who’s great at understanding customer journeys.
- Comfortable in a high-growth, high-expectation environment.
- Confident operator without needing a large team underneath you.
- A great cross-functional collaborator.
Cultural Fit
We’re looking for doers who’ve built and scaled scrappy, digital-first businesses. If you thrive on speed, autonomy, and real commercial impact, this is your shot.
What we offer
- A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take a heritage brand and help it go global.
- You’ll be working with an experienced leadership team that’s done everything from big brand creation to small, scrappy start ups.
- Exposure to other Matrix APA brands including Arkive, Cultured, and Soho Skin.
- We love to reward our teams for their hard work and our office always has something going on, whether that’s puppy yoga, massages, bingo nights or a bake off to bring our teams together.

- Unlimited Holiday
