Job Description: We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media and Marketing Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our social media platforms, developing and executing marketing plans, and showcasing our vibrant company culture. This role involves working closely with various teams to maintain an up-to-date online presence and establish our brand at industry events. Responsibilities: Social Media Management: Oversee Cowshed Collective’s social media platforms. Create and schedule engaging content, including case studies, behind-the-scenes features, white-papers, and culturally relevant marketing posts. Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies to stay relevant and engaging. Analyse and report on social media performance metrics, adjusting strategies to improve engagement and reach. Website Management: Ensure the Cowshed Collective website is regularly updated with new projects, news, and other relevant content. Marketing Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing playbook for the year. Plan and execute marketing campaigns that align with company goals and target audience. Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to optimise future strategies. Company Culture Promotion: Work closely with the HR team to highlight Cowshed Collective’s unique culture and employee experiences. Create content that showcases company events, employee achievements, and the overall work environment. Industry Engagement: Collaborate with wider teams to establish a strong presence at industry events, panels, and conferences. Plan and coordinate Cowshed Collective’s participation in industry events, ensuring effective brand representation. Network with industry professionals and build relationships to enhance the company’s reputation and visibility. B2B Relationship Building and PR: Work with key stakeholders to build and maintain B2B relationships with trade media. Draft compelling copy for press releases and other PR materials. Coordinate with trade media to secure coverage and manage media inquiries. Monitor media coverage and report on PR campaign effectiveness. About you: 1+ years of experience in social media management and marketing, preferably within an agency setting. Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in content creation tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva). Experience with website management (Wordpress is preferred but not required) Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with various departments.
