Coworth Park, Dorchester Collection's Luxury Country House Hotel and Spa, is Seeking a Professional, Motivated Individual who has the Passion and Experience in Handling Horses to fill the Role of the Equestrian Supervisor/Assistant Manager-MUST Be A Min Of Level 2 Teach Qualified!

Responsibilities

  • To provide the highest level of care and presentation of the horses and unprecedented service levels to our guests
  • All aspects of yard work duties including; feed, hay, muck out, turn out, groom, clip and bandage
  • Keep the yard, horses and all equipment looking immaculate at all times
  • Schooling horses to keep them well trained and exercised daily
  • Prepare them for guests to ride
  • Escorting hacks around the estate both on foot or riding Welcoming guests in a polite and friendly manner
  • Fitting guests with safety equipment before riding
  • Teaching guests of the hotel and local clients on our ponies and horses with knowledge, enthusiasm and care for safety at all times (BHS qualified)
  • A qualified responsible individual who can supervise a small team of staff in the manager's absence and deliver the service our guests expect.
  • Must be able to respond to telephone and email enquiries from guests in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Further training is available with BHS Stage 5 on site.

Able to take charge in the managers absence, offering exceptional customer experiences to our guests and managing staff members.

MUST Be A Min Of Level 2 Teach Qualified!

Ensuring horses are cared for to a very high standard.

Would suit someone wishing to train for BHS Stage 4 or get some management experience.

PLEASE NOTE WE CAN ONLY CONSIDER APPLICANTS WHO ARE ALREADY BASED IN THE UK AND HAVE A LEVEL 2 COACHING QUALIFICATION.
