Salaried General Practitioner

Are you a General Practitioner with passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at the Cowley Road Medical Practice, a vibrant, community-focused GP practice in East Oxford. The role will incorporate all the various aspects of day to day general practice in a combination of acute presentation of patients (through duty doctor sessions) as well as chronic disease/long term conditions monitoring and management (through routine telephone/face to face appointment sessions). In the role, you will provide:

• GMS services to the patient population of Cowley, Oxford.
• A contribution to clinical administration duties.
• A number of duty clinician sessions throughout the week.
• Manage a patient list of 250 patients per session (i.e. 3 session GP will have an allocated list of 750 patients, 7 session GP will have an allocated list of 1,750 patients).

Cowley Road Medical Practice (CRMP) is a well established GP Practice providing various NHS & Primary Clinical Care to patients in East Oxford. PMLis a successful not-for-profit, GP-led organisation providing various clinical services across Oxfordshire & Northamptonshire. They have evolved as a NHS healthcare provider since 2004 & in the last few years have grown significantly, now employing around 300 staff with a turnover of £16m. PML holds GMS contracts, as well as being a GP Federation representing 50 GP practices & nearly 650,000 patients.

We are looking for a salaried GP on a permanant Contract to work three to eight sessions a week. You will be supported by, and work with, a diverse multi skilled professional team of clinical and non-clinical approachable staff. In return you will provide high quality, person centred clinical care to our patients.
