We play a leading role in delivering engagement and communications for some of the UK\’s most important infrastructure projects and we are looking to bolster our team as these projects move forward to delivery.
Design the Future with Global Team of Experts
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and politically aware Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator to join our Essex and London based External Affairs team. Working with senior leaders, you will be responsible for helping projects build meaningful and effective relationships with MPs and other stakeholders.
On a day-to-day basis, you\’ll be responsible for:
- Building relationships with key stakeholders
- Developing and implementing engagement programmes with MPs, their offices and other stakeholders
- Working closely with projects’ senior leadership
- Anticipating and responding to key stakeholder queries and concerns
- Keeping accurate, well written and timely records of all stakeholder interactions
- Drafting high quality, well written reports, presentations, documents and briefings
- Working with other External Affairs colleagues to support engagement events

You should have:
- Experience of developing and maintaining strong relationships with political stakeholders, specifically in the infrastructure and built environment sector.
- The ability to work and quickly build credibility and trust with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- An interest in politics, infrastructure and the built environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Understanding of the planning environment and political sensitivities associated with it.
- Proficient interpersonal skills and the ability to schedule work, deliver to tight deadlines, respond to changing situations and use personal initiative.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
