To strategically contribute to the delivery of a complex infrastructure project, we are looking for a Planner to join us. Working on a major joint venture, you’ll work closely with Project Directors and Managers, ensuring robust planning, scheduling, and performance tracking across all project phases. You’ll combine technical expertise with stakeholder management, encouraging collaboration and resolving conflicts to maintain project momentum and meet project milestones.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Prepare and assess detailed programme/project plans for all stages and facets of a project to support the timely delivery of project outcomes.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the programme and project life cycle, delivery methodology, Earned Value Management, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Prepare regular status reports and forecasts for programme, project, and client reviews.
- Demonstrate experience in the ability to integrate multiple programmes from Delivery Partners and other stakeholders and own them.
- Report on schedule performance, identify issues and opportunities for improvement, and recommend corrective actions, ensuring compliance and addressing any non-compliance.
- Develop and maintain rolling 4-week construction schedules and milestone tracking, Level I, II, III IV schedules.
- Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in collaboration with Project Directors and Managers.
- Monitor and update project schedules, critical paths, milestones and completion timelines.
- Maintain the Critical Path Network to ensure timely completion of all activities.
- Analyse progress data to forecast issues, programme scope and maintain detailed programme/project schedules in alignment with contract obligations.
- Analyse and assure Delivery Partner / Contractor / Stakeholder schedules against contract scope and requirements.
- Analyse progress data and issue project critical path analysis reports, bulk release and install curves and analysis, milestones summary and level 2 - 3 schedule.
- Assist in expediting engineering, procurement and enabling works programme schedules.
- Liaise with the project team, cost controllers, and clients to monitor trends and assess their impact on the programme/project.
- Ensure and maintain Primavera P6 schedules meet target dates and performance metrics.

- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
- Advanced knowledge of Quality Systems Process & Procedures and associated Planning & Scheduling tools: Primavera P6, MS Project, TILOS, Acumen Fuse.
- Advanced Knowledge of project management tools, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Co-Pilot to assist in the swift clear communication of delivery products.
- Significant multi-year experience in mega large-scale Construction & Civil programs; Roads, Tunnels and Major Utility Relocation & Outages.
- Extensive experience in the management of Primavera P6 EPPM, P6 Risk, TILOS, Acumen Fuse and any other planning software.
- Good communication skills to clearly convey complex scheduling information to stakeholders at all levels.
- Identify scheduling conflicts early and facilitate resolution through negotiation, compromise, and alignment with project goals.
- Takes initiative to spot potential risks and creates workable plans to preserve schedule integrity.
- The ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in all planning documentation and schedule updates.
