You will work across a portfolio of projects throughout the UK, typically in rail, highways and water, and support projects across different sectors and globally.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Managing and coordinating delivery of your work to time and budget, ensuring a high standard of technical quality and compliance with our internal management systems across the entire project lifecycle from feasibility to detailed design, including site supervision where required.</li> <li>Production of drainage designs, assessments and checking others’ work, including preparation or checking of models, calculations, written reports, specifications and other contract deliverables.</li> <li>Ensuring that design, assessments and checking of designs are in accordance with the current Standards, Codes of Practice and Best Practice.</li> <li>Developing and mentoring less experienced engineers and technicians within your project teams.</li> <li>Assisting with the preparation of bids and tenders and supporting the Directors in pursuing business development opportunities.</li> </ul> <h2>Skills & Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Achieved Chartered Engineer (C.

Eng) status with experience working on multi-disciplinary projects.</li> <li>Strong analytical ability and a solid understanding of current design standards and the latest drainage design tools and software.</li> <li>Experience of undertaking or specifying drainage surveys.</li> <li>Experience of catchment analysis, hydraulic design, pumping station design and legislative requirements.</li> <li>Demonstrable experience in railway, highway or water sectors.
