As our new Creative Design and Brand Lead, you will play a key role in protecting and developing our brand, producing engaging visual content, and ensuring design excellence across the programme.

You will work closely with internal teams, senior leaders, delivery partners, and external stakeholders to deliver creative solutions that communicate our purpose and support business objectives.

Furthermore you will

  • Act as the brand guardian, ensuring consistent application of brand guidelines across all materials and supporting training, workshops, audits and quality assurance.
  • Mentor and support the Junior Creative & Brand Designer through coaching, feedback and development.
  • Manage the end-to-end graphic design request process and internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Create and maintain branded templates for presentations, reports, technical documents, brochures, forms, event and marketing materials.
  • Maintain the design intranet page, ensuring staff have access to templates, assets, merchandise and guidance.
  • Oversee the implementation and administration of Templafy to support consistent brand standards.
  • Partner with the People Team to communicate purpose, pillars and principles.
  • Produce high-quality presentations and documents for senior leadership and key programme activities.
  • Design engaging social media content, including motion graphics, GIFs and short animations.
  • Support internal communications, engagement initiatives and events with creative design.
  • Stay current with design trends to continuously improve creative output and brand impact.
  • Provide ad hoc creative support for External Affairs, including ministerial and cross-government events.

On top of that, you’ll have

  • 7+ years' professional experience in graphic design, including experience supporting bids or corporate communications.
  • Demonstrable experience working within and enforcing brand guidelines across large or complex organisations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point and Word, with experience creating sophisticated presentation and document templates.
  • Solid understanding of typography, layout, branding and visual storytelling.
  • Experience designing presentations, brochures, reports, booklets, flyers, banners and other print and digital collateral from concept through to final production.
  • Experience implementing branded templates and design processes that improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while consistently delivering high‑quality work to tight deadlines.
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior designers, providing constructive feedback and supporting professional growth.
  • Solid stakeholder management skills with the confidence to advise, coach and support colleagues at all levels.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to explain design rationale and translate complex ideas into compelling visual solutions.
