To further strengthen our project support, we are looking for a Document Controller to join us. Working on a variety of projects, you will work with the Design & Technical teams to provide a consistent and timely service by ensuring that all project information, drawings, and documentation are managed, communicated, filed and retrievable in accordance with the businesses IMS procedures.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Management of the information flow between the delivery team and the contractor and/or Client
- Coordinating and maintaining the EDMS register of original documents, allocating new document numbers and assisting with upload of placeholders when requested
- Copying, scanning, uploading, and registering incoming documents to the EDMS
- Coordinating the authorisation of new folders within the file structure and auditing the filing structure to ensure discipline and logic is being adhered to
- Timely distribution of document/reports to the enabling works team for review and providing tracking reports to the enabling works team identifying contractors’ submissions

On top of that, you’ll have:
- Good working knowledge of EDMS Software systems (MS Office, Business Collaborator, SharePoint, Bentley – ProjectWise, Asite, Aconex, ViewPoint, Conject, eB)
- Experience with workflows of design information within EDMS systems.
- Experience of checking quality and compliance of drawings and documents.
- Training project teams on EDMS Systems.
- Working knowledge of ISO : Quality Management Systems
- Working knowledge of ISO BIM Quality Management
- Familiarity with the relevant regulations regarding document keeping and handling (GDPR)
- The ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines.
