Responsibilities
- Support ICT Quality Team to facilitate the development of a quality mindset based around the ABC model for quality (Assurance, Business Improvement, Control).
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the projects Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring documents are current, reviewed, and correctly applied.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and follow‑up of internal and Delivery Partner audits, including tracking actions to closure.
- Review quality records and evidence to confirm that defined processes are being followed in practice.
- Support Delivery Partners in understanding and meeting LTC quality requirements.
- Assist with the management and monitoring of non‑conformances, corrective actions, and improvement plans.
- Monitor quality performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), alongside the document control team to ensure quality records are completed and accurate.
- Identify trends or recurring issues and escalate to the Quality Manager.
- Contribute to quality reporting, reviews, checks, dashboards, and assurance updates for governance forums.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Quality, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
- Membership of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) or another relevant professional body or working towards CQI membership and/or chartership (CQI / IRCA / equivalent).
- Experience working in a quality, assurance, or compliance role within infrastructure or construction.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar management systems.
- Understanding of audit processes and evidence‑based assurance.
- Experience working on major infrastructure projects with familiarity of programme quality requirements.
- Experience in the implementation of technology (including artificial intelligence), automation and other innovation / improvements.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Good organisational and document management skills with meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to evaluate evidence objectively.
