Overview

Do you want to work on one of the largest infrastructure projects in the UK, build discussions with a wide range of stakeholders, or create solutions for a sustainable world? Join us as a Stakeholder Engagement Manager on the Lower Thames Crossing, helping shape a better tomorrow.

Responsibilities

  • Support COWI UK’s External Affairs and Consents practice to secure work with existing and new projects and clients.
  • Work closely with clients to develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and plans.
  • Lead engagement with local, regional and national stakeholders, local authorities, businesses and communities.
  • Prepare bid and fee proposals to win new work and support capture and bid processes for major and regional opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sector Leads, Heads of Discipline and the broader Business Development team to integrate capabilities into bid proposals.
  • Contribute to strategy and actions to drive business growth in specified focus areas.
  • Identify technical development areas to maximise growth opportunities.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) programme values and support HSW strategy development.

Qualifications

  • Experience developing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies and plans.
  • Proven track record of business development and winning work in the stakeholder and communications sector within the built‑environment industry.
  • Strong relationships with key political, business, local authority and community stakeholders.
  • Excellent client and partner trust‑based relationship building skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively, manage deadlines and respond to changing situations.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
