To grow our Engineer team in London, we are looking for a Graduate Engineer to join us. Working on a wide range of projects you’ll co-create on some of the most prestigious infrastructure programmes in the UK. You’ll also be supported by our engineers on your ongoing professional development (Chartership) with a tailored plan to achieve your career aspirations.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Producing engineering designs, assessments, and evaluations in accordance with project requirements
- Preparing calculations, writing reports, and checking drawings
- Checking design calculations and drawings done by other engineers
- Performing a wide variety of engineer activities including collating and understanding data, running analysis, developing calculation methods, and working with colleagues to deliver consistently high-quality project work
- Contributing to the dissemination of engineering good practice and implementation of our in-house tools such as the carbon calculation tool
- With the support of your project manager, plan and prioritise your workload, reporting back on progress against a project budget and programme
- Responsible for delivering your own work to a high technical standard, ensuring accuracy through a diligent and conscientious approach to self-checking
- Attending site visits or client meetings

On top of that, you’ll have:
- Been studying to obtain a bachelor’s or master’s degree either in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering (BEng, BSc, Meng, MSc)
- Aspirations to become a Chartered Engineer
- Ideally have some experience of working in an engineering environment (such as a year in industry or summer placements)
- Be able to demonstrate a deep understanding and passion for engineering and a personal commitment to technical excellence
- Have the ability and desire to work in a diverse and multi-disciplinary team
- Be able to demonstrate good communication skills and teamwork
