Responsibilities
- Oversee and participate in the production and delivery of the geometrical design
- Check design and drawings prepared by other engineers
- Undertake traffic signs and road markings design
- Carry out RRRAP assessments
- Define Road Safety Audit briefs and responses
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
Qualifications
- A degree in Civil Engineering
- Achieved Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or be working towards it
- A range of experience working in a design environment on Highways projects in the UK
- Demonstrable skills in the Design Manual for Roads and Bridge (DMRB)
- Experience in Civil3D and Autodesk products
- A sound understanding of CDM Regulations
- Preferable experience in ProjectWise
