Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Personal Tax Senior Manager who will be working on tax client activities including tax compliance, preparation and review of personal tax returns and tax planning.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing support with their personal tax affairs
- Handling a range of tax compliance matters for clients
- Completion and review of self-assessment tax returns
- Ability to assist with tax enquiries and prepare correspondence
- Liaison with tax authorities
- Ensure the business complies with all relevant internal requirements, industry regulations and government legislation, identifying any savings to minimise tax bills
- Advising on bespoke tax planning
- Preparing tax liability calculations
- Develop and maintain a good level of technical knowledge through appropriate reading and training
- ATT qualified or equivalent experience in personal tax
- Proven experience in managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
- Strong knowledge of UK personal tax legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns
- Excellent technical knowledge with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation
- Confident communicator with the ability to explain tax matters clearly to clients and colleagues
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
