This role can be based from Manchester and/or Bolton.
As our VAT team continues to expand, we are looking for a talented and driven VAT Senior Manager to join us. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our VAT offering.
Key Responsibilities- Client Delivery: Provide high-quality VAT advice to a wide range of entrepreneurial businesses. Solve problems, delivering advisory projects. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong and lasting relationships. Assist our large Corporate Finance team with transactions work.
- Team Development: Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. Lead by example in delivering technical excellence and client service. Contribute to internal training and knowledge sharing.
- Business Development: Collaborate with partners and other service lines to identify opportunities for new business. Support the development of proposals and pitches.
- ACA/ CTA preferred.
- Significant experience in VAT.
- Proven track record in delivering VAT advisory services, ideally within a practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, collaborative, and client-focused approach.
- Passionate about developing people and contributing to a positive team culture.
