In this role, you will lead the sharing of technical expertise across both groups while ensuring alignment with best-practice processes across the wider UK Private Client and Rural division. Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Growth: Help develop, deliver, and articulate the team's business plan, driving profitability, income growth, and cost management.
  • Team Unification & Management: Lead and motivate a dispersed team across Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Perth, setting SMART objectives, conducting performance reviews, and steering recruitment and retention.
  • Operational & Technical Excellence: Oversee renewal strategies, review lapses, ensure contract certainty, and champion the identification and support of vulnerable clients.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to FCA principles, the CII Code of Ethics, GDPR, anti-money laundering regulations, and internal company standards.
  • Change & Project Management: Lead divisional projects, implement change smoothly, and travel occasionally to other UK offices to share guidelines, innovation, and best practices.
  • Culture & Development: Act as a positive role model, mentor colleagues, promote internal learning and development, and foster collaboration across a strong internal network.
