Role: Café Assistant

Reports to: Café Supervisor

Location: Cowdray Ruins Café, Midhurst

Contract type: Part time hours, one or more days over Friday to Sunday, with option for additional days over the summer months. Fixed term or ongoing contract available.

Salary: Competitive

Cowdray Ruins consists of the ruins of one of England's great houses, largely destroyed by fire in 1793. We have a small, friendly Visitor Centre and Café situated nearby, with a simple food and drink offer and the chance to find out more about the Ruins and buy related merchandise and guidebooks. As a charity, all profit made from these enterprises goes back into the maintenance of the site.

The Position

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our café team. The role involves serving customers, providing basic information about the Ruins and the area, and supporting day-to-day operations. There will also be the option to work at some of our events at the Ruins. Prior experience is welcome but not required, as full training will be provided. It will be a necessary requirement of the job to work weekends.
