We are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team at the award-winning Cowdray Farm Shop & Café. This is an exciting opportunity to work with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients in a fast-paced but supportive environment.
The Role
As Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver consistently high standards.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Managing your section efficiently during service
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards
- Supporting junior team members where required
- Contributing to menu development and daily specials
Working Hours
This role offers an excellent work-life balance compared to many kitchen positions:
- Weekend availability is essential
- Very minimal evening work required
- Most shifts finish by 5pm
