We are currently looking for Café Assistants here at Cowdray.

About the estate:

This progressive family owned rural estate is located at the heart of the South Downs National Park and employs over 200 staff. Steeped in history and heritage, it contains the ruins of one of England most important early Tudor Houses and is the home of British Polo. There is also our award-winning Farm Shop & Café, a championship Golf Course, Holiday Accommodation, Wellbeing Centre and Cowdray House, a luxury event venue which sit alongside the more traditional estate activities including farming, forestry and deer management.

About the applicant:

The successful applicants will enjoy being part of a hard working, outgoing team and have fantastic customer service skills. We are ideally looking for some hospitality/retail experience, but it is equally important to find team members that are confident, friendly and outgoing with a positive can-do attitude. Full training will be given.

You will need to be a self-motivated and creative person with a positive and cheerful nature. Our Farm Shop and Café are highly sociable so therefore you need to like people and to understand what good customer service means. For the Café Assistant team, you need not be a trained barista since full training will be given but if you are trained we would love to hear from you!

We want people who really enjoy good food and are interested to learn more about where their food comes from, how it is made and how best to enjoy it. We want people who recognise that there are opportunities within our business to build a career, starting at the grass roots and learning the skills to enable you to take on more challenges and with that, bigger roles.

Full time and part time positions available. Please note we are not looking for seasonal staff.
