We are currently looking for Café Assistants here at Cowdray.

About the estate:

This progressive family-owned rural estate is located at the heart of the South Downs National Park and employs over 200 staff. Steeped in history and heritage, it contains the ruins of one of England\’s most important early Tudor Houses and is the home of British Polo. There is also our award-winning Farm Shop & Café, a championship Golf Course, Holiday Accommodation, Wellbeing Centre, and Cowdray House, a luxury event venue, which sit alongside traditional estate activities including farming, forestry, and deer management.

About the applicant:

The successful applicants will enjoy being part of a hardworking, outgoing team and have excellent customer service skills. While hospitality or retail experience is preferred, it is equally important that candidates are confident, friendly, outgoing, and possess a positive, can-do attitude. Full training will be provided.

You should be self-motivated and creative, with a positive and cheerful nature. Since our Farm Shop and Café are highly sociable environments, liking people and understanding good customer service are essential. For the Café Assistant team, prior barista training is not required, but if you are trained, we would love to hear from you!

We seek individuals who enjoy good food and are interested in learning about food origins, preparation, and enjoyment. We value team members who recognize opportunities to build a career within our business, starting from the ground up and acquiring skills to take on more responsibilities and larger roles.

Full-time and part-time positions are available. Please note we are not looking for seasonal staff.
