We're COW. We're 26 years young, we're smart, we're nice, and we're one of the most decorated integrated creative agencies in London. One of the herd is leaving us (moving out of London!), so we're on the hunt for an awesome Account Director. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone to step into a senior role in an agency that's seriously going places – figuratively and literally. In June we're moving to a beautiful new office in Covent Garden. You'll be working across an enviable client portfolio – including two of the world's most famous tequila brands, and some of our flagship entertainment, destination and travel accounts. In addition, there's scope to run projects for some of the biggest FMCG brands on the planet, and get involved in new business pitches too.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Salary: up to £52,000 pa + benefits
Location: Central London (Covent Garden), hybrid, 4 days p/w in the office
You'll be leading high impact press office and blended social accounts (tequilas!), and wider brand campaigns too. It really is a mix of PR, social and influencer work, and there'll be plenty of opportunities for strategic planning and deck writing too – for high-impact standalone campaigns, annual brand plans and new business pitches. You'll need to be a self-starter and a strong team leader, but you won't be on your own – you'll be supported by smart, hungry juniors and a solicitous and collaborative management team. Across your accounts you'll work closely with COW's revered creative and studio teams, and day-to-day you'll be driving campaigns and evergreen work forward, giving razor sharp client counsel, steering talented teams and managing budgets.
YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- Solid agency background, at least 5 years, ideally some of that in a small or mid-sized agency
- Big brand experience with FMCG / alcoholic drinks / entertainment clients
- Exceptional organisation skills with great attention to detail
- Solid experience creating and executing creative brand plans
- Super strong writing and presenting skills
- A deep understanding of social and experience delivering social-first campaigns
- Proven ability to manage multi-layered campaigns with significant budgets
- Strong earned media instincts – you need to know what is a story and what isn't
- A natural cultural curiosity, and an acute awareness of the latest cultural trends
- Strong business acumen, budget management and resourcing experience
- Energy, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude
WHY APPLY
You'll be joining a super smart, and supportive team working on a brilliant client portfolio. There are great opportunities for growth, to learn from a talented team, and you'll be able to help shape the agency moving forward. You'll have responsibilities, you'll be empowered, and you'll be working with a forward thinking, progressive group of people who aren't afraid to do things differently.
