At Covetrus, we’re dedicated to delivering the highest level of service to our customers – and we’re looking for a motivated Operations Assistant to help keep our warehouse running smoothly.

What the inbound team do/what your role could involve:

  • Receiving of orders from external suppliers
  • Booking stock into the system via our internal WMS system, ensuring this is done efficiently recording key information where required
  • Barcoding – where required internal manual barcodes are applied to products
  • Replenishment – Filling the shelves to maximum capacity to prepare the shelves for the outbound picking operation. There are two parts to the replenishment team; this is split between picking and put‑away. The picking team are trained on MHE equipment to allow for efficient picking
  • Stock Rotation – ensuring stock is rotated to avoid exposure
  • Put‑away – The team put away the stock booked in daily by the good receipt team to ensure each product is able to be located by being allocated to a bin location
  • Accuracy – ensuring SOP/WI are followed to ensure the products are handled correctly minimising the risk of errors.
  • Housekeeping – Working collaboratively with all areas of operations to ensure the warehouse is kept in a clean and tidy manner. Helping towards a safe and friendly environment

You’ll be part of a friendly, hard‑working team, but you’ll also have tasks where you can work independently and take ownership. In every part of the role, you’ll be focused on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring orders are right first time.

  • Forklift/Bendi Training (not essential)
  • Driver’s license
