Experienced insurance broker Joanne Jackson founded our brokerage to offer businesses and private clients easy access to independent advice and a range of high‑quality insurance policies. Since then, we have built a reputation for service that’s second to none.
About the New Business Insurance Executive role
You’ll be part of the New Business team, responsible for servicing our commercial clients with risks ranging from Motor Trade, Motor Fleet, and Commercial Combined. With the support of the senior management team, you will identify opportunities to grow the book through generating your own leads and converting referral leads.
Key responsibilities
- Offer and present insurance solutions — including policies and risk management options — with the aim of securing new business
- Support team performance through open communication with colleagues and management
- Identify and pursue cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities
- Utilise all company‑provided leads and develop effective ways to increase quote volume
- Achieve or exceed agreed targets for quotes, sales, and income
- Understand clients’ business operations, risks, and approach to insurance
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, service standards, and FCA regulations
About You
You’ll be motivated, target‑driven, and focused on delivering outstanding service. You’ll be eager to develop your insurance career with the support of an experienced team. You will have or be:
- Experience in Motor Trade Combined, Road Risk, Motor Fleet, and/or Commercial Combined
- A strong passion and flair for new business
- Motivated and driven to exceed targets
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confident telephone manner and ability to build relationships
- Highly organised with strong time‑management skills
- Genuine interest in developing within insurance and sales
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi‑task
- Knowledge of Acturis (ideal but not essential)
