Do you have a good knowledge of timber and timber‑related products? Are you sales driven? Based in the Sales Office, you will become an integral part of a busy branch dealing with sales enquiries over the telephone and at the Sales Counter. You will be advising customers on our vast range of products, negotiating prices and building relationships with customers.
Responsibilities
- You will represent the branch and assist with the growth of the business, working as a team to exceed sales targets.
- You will ensure that the needs of the customers are dealt with quickly and efficiently whilst providing a service that ensures customers return on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Previous experience on a trade counter or within an internal sales / telephone sales role is essential.
- A good knowledge of timber and associated products is required.
- You must be sales driven, have excellent customer service skills together with a good telephone manner and the ability to work well within a team.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 08:00am to 17:00pm with a 30 minute break for lunch and 1 in 2 Saturdays from 08:30am to 12:30pm.
