About the Role Cover My Ltd is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of the finance function.

This is a varied, hands-on role with a strong emphasis on insurer reconciliations, payment processing and financial administration.

The successful candidate will also provide finance support to related businesses, helping to ensure accurate financial records, efficient processes and excellent service across the wider organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 12 months' finance experience who is looking to broaden their knowledge within a growing insurance business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile insurer and broker statements, investigating and resolving any differences.
  • Assist with non-statutory trust account reconciliations, commission transfers and Bordereaux (BDX) reconciliations.
  • Prepare supplier payment runs in accordance with company procedures.
  • Post and reconcile daily bank transactions and company credit card expenditure.
  • Process purchase and sales invoices, ensuring transactions are coded accurately to the correct nominal ledger accounts.
  • Assist with supplier statement reconciliations and resolve supplier queries.
  • Support credit control activities, including maintaining accurate customer account records and assisting with debt collection where required...
