Shift Engineer Louth £47,074.71 per annum Full-time Permanent Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (2 days: 6am-6pm, 2 nights: 6pm-6am)

The Role: We are looking for a skilled Shift Engineer to join our team at our Louth site. You will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency by carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring maximum machinery uptime, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
  • Supporting machine availability and operational performance
  • Conducting routine testing, calibration, and fault finding
  • Maintaining accurate engineering records and ensuring audit readiness
  • Promoting and adhering to Health & Safety standards
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects and initiatives

About you: We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will ideally have:

  • An electrical bias with strong mechanical knowledge
  • Experience with PLC systems and drives
  • A methodical, root cause approach to fault finding
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices within manufacturing
  • Computer literacy (experience with CMMS systems is advantageous)
