We’re looking for a confident and analytical Estimator / Commercial Analyst to join the Commercial Department in Burnley. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, pricing, and commercial insight to help drive profitable growth.

In this role, the successful candidate will support the Commercial Manager with daily pricing activity and commercial analysis. You’ll ensure our pricing is accurate, competitive, and aligned with margin expectations, helping the business achieve its profit objectives.

You will handle the majority of daily pricing enquiries, prepare estimates for major tenders, maintain customer price files, and keep our Pricing Tool fully updated. Using data, you’ll identify poor-margin products or customers and support the sales team in implementing improvement strategies. You’ll also produce regular commercial reports and provide oversight of invoice pricing to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Strong analytical ability with solid mathematical understanding
  • Commercially minded with good business acumen
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Access, SharePoint, SQL or Power BI is an advantage
  • Confident working independently and managing fluctuating workloads
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
