We are recruiting for a Shift Engineer to work at our Louth site to carry out maintenance, repairs, PPM, routine testing, calibration, and record keeping with a high focus on Health and Safety and Continuous Improvement. The successful candidate will work on a 4 on 4 off rota working 2 days 6am to 6pm, then 2 nights 6pm to 6am.
The Role
- Work as part of a team to ensure effective maintenance and achieve maximum machine availability.
- Perform PPM and reactive work.
- Keep records and update key engineering data to remain audit ready.
- Engage with and promote a strong Health and Safety Culture.
- Lead or participate in various projects to improve business efficiency.
The Person – Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
- Able to demonstrate a root cause approach to fault finding and rectification.
- Good decision making and team player.
- Electrical bias with sound mechanical knowledge.
- Working knowledge of PLC’s and Drives.
- Excellent organisational capability and time management skills.
- Organised and calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment.
- Computer Literate – Previous use of a CMMS beneficial.
