We’re looking for a proactive and technically minded individual to support our print department by ensuring the accurate and timely supply of inks. This hands‑on role involves colour matching, ink blending, stock management, and providing on‑shift technical support. You’ll work closely with Printers and Print Assistants, helping to maintain smooth production and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ink returns, equipment, and machinery within the department
- Blend inks and carry out colour matching to meet job specifications
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during production
- Ensure all production requirements are met efficiently
- Assist with print trials and general operational tasks
- Maintain adherence to processes and Health & Safety standards
- Support other areas of the operation when required
- Work flexibly, including occasional out‑of‑hours support
- Engage in ongoing training and development
Shift Pattern
The attractive shift pattern involves working a mix of 12-hour day and night shifts, working an average of 14 shifts per month.
