Introduction
Coveris is a leading international manufacturer of film, flexibles, labels and board packaging solutions. We help to reduce waste and constantly work on new, high performance and sustainable packaging solutions. Our Gainsborough site produce high quality print film solutions for suppliers of packaged food to many of the major supermarkets in the UK.
Your tasks:
- Clean and sanitize domestic areas such as:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
- Empty bins and dispose of waste according to factory procedures
- Refill soap, toilet paper, and other consumables
- Report any maintenance or safety issues (e.g., leaks, broken fixtures)
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to guidelines
- Follow the company’s hygiene and safety policies, including PPE requirements
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stored securely and used efficiently
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks as required (e.g., periodic floor polishing
Who are we looking for:
- Previous cleaning experience preferred (factory or commercial setting is a plus)
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Good attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures
- Physically fit – able to stand for long periods and perform manual work
