Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Quality & Systems Officer to join our team. The postholder will work closely with the Quality and Systems Lead to review, develop, implement, and maintain the organisations quality assurance systems. This role is integral to ensuring regulatory compliance, operational consistency, and the delivery of high-quality care across our homes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Collect, input, and maintain high-quality and accurate data across company systems.
- Ensure the integrity of quality assurance information through regular updates and monitoring.
- Analyse data to identify patterns, trends, and potential areas requiring further investigation.
- Review policies and associated documentation to confirm alignment with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and research newly issued sector guidance, legislation, and best-practice standards, providing recommendations for required updates.
- Support the development and implementation of effective strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to enhance compliance and organisational performance.
- Work collaboratively with care delivery teams to ensure the practical application and successful implementation of new policies and procedures.
- Contribute to new business initiatives and assess their potential impact on Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Participate in internal audits and assist in the preparation and reporting of findings.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to support understanding of departmental functions and expectations.
- Ensure consistent and accurate communication when collecting and verifying required data.
- Promote and champion a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
- Work constructively as part of a team while demonstrating the ability to work independently and exercise initiative.
- Engage in relevant training opportunities and demonstrate a continued commitment to personal and professional development.
- Serve as a positive role model, upholding the organisations values and standards.
- Attend meetings as required by the Quality Performance Manager, Head of Care, or Chief Executive.
