This role is part of our Cover-More Europe team. Cover-More Europe provides insurance solutions through a number of different customer-facing brands across travel, car hire, specialty, and pet sectors in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the rest of Europe. For more than twenty years, we have been delivering insurance policies through our distribution partnerships.

What you'll be doing:

  • Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources (internal systems, databases and external providers)
  • Ensure high data quality and integrity in all analysis
  • Use statistical methods and analytical tools to identify trends, patterns, and key business insights
  • Translate complex data into clear findings for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel
  • Present findings in a concise, visually engaging manner, focusing on business impact
  • Act as a key business partner to underwriting, claims, finance, and other business areas
  • Understand stakeholder requirements and deliver tailored reporting and analytics solutions
  • Identify opportunities for automation, self-service analytics, and advanced data solutions
  • Champion the adoption of new technologies and best practices in data analytics and reporting
  • Proactively manage data-related risks and drive a strong control environment

What skills and experience you'll bring on this journey:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in data analysis, ideally within insurance, financial services, or a similar industry
  • Proficiency in analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for different audiences
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data quality
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
