Overview
R S Cockerill are a family business based at Dunnington, near York supplying fresh, quality potatoes to the supermarkets, as well as supplying the crisp manufacturers with processing potatoes, helping to make some of the nations most recognisable snacks. If youre handy, practical and enjoy a varied workload, were looking for an individual to help us maintain our site at Dunnington, just East of York.
Job role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be required to:
- To strive for continuous improvement in all production areas and consistency is maintained.
- Ensure all policies / procedures are followed.
- Report and record any maintenance issues.
- The position is a Factory Cleaning Role not a Domestic Role
Job Requirements
Candidates will be expected Duties:
- Cleaning, Washing and Hygiene maintenance of the Production Lines and surrounding area.
- Water Management throughout the site.
- Liaising and helping Engineers
- Following and completing all cleaning records.
- To ensure company hygiene standards are always met. Work area cleaning.
- Show full co-operation and awareness of company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Have a positive and enthusiastic can do attitude.
- Experienced enough to work under own initiative or as part of a team.
- Good level of communication skills, with the ability to understand and share verbal instruction in English.
- Access to own transport due to location.
