About the service

WfW is a collaborative, community mental wellbeing health service delivered by Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind in partnership with KeyRing and Qwell. We provide early intervention, low-level mental health and wellbeing support for adults (18+) across Warwickshire.

Our service offers a joined‑up approach including drop‑in sessions, one‑to‑one support, peer groups, learning and training opportunities, and community outreach—making support accessible beyond traditional settings.

We also provide a dedicated website and Wellbeing Line, ensuring people can quickly access the right support, in the right way, at the right time.

About the role

As a Wellbeing Practitioner you will be providing support for those experiencing mental health and wellbeing difficulties through Wellbeing for Warwickshire services.

You will be supporting people who may require self‑help interventions and/or signposting to internal/external services (internal signpostings could include Qwell, Kooth, Keyring, Recovery & Wellbeing Academy and many other Coventry & Warwickshire Mind services).

You will be working in a community focused way to ensure that local organisations are aware of the provision. Building and maintaining close links with local providers to promote positive mental health.

You will help support service delivery at Wellbeing Hub drop‑ins, one‑to‑one sessions, workshops, outreach, outreach hubs and a Wellbeing Line, which we staff between the hours of 09.00‑17.00.

This delivery will be under the direction of Team leader/Service Manager in line with contractual requirements, Minds vision and values, policies and procedures and any relevant legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • To provide practical and emotional person‑centred support that works towards empowerment and recovery appropriate for each individual client.
  • To assist in the planning/delivery of mental health and wellbeing outreach support sessions.
  • Provide accurate, meaningful and consistent information to support people accessing the Wellbeing Line (telephone support).
  • Deliver 1:1, group, peer, and online support to help people access community services.
  • Develop and run group sessions, hub activities, and short‑term interventions.
  • Carry out outreach to raise awareness and promote the service.
  • Work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team across clinical and non‑clinical backgrounds.

Qualifications and experience

  • A minimum of one year’s experience of working in a mental health setting.
  • Experience of providing telephone and/or digital support.
  • An ability to effectively engage with mental health service users.
  • Experience of monitoring and evaluation.
  • Experience of delivering outputs and outcomes.
  • Experience of working with a wide range of agencies.
  • An ability to travel across Coventry & Warwickshire as a car driver, with appropriate business insurance on the vehicle to support travel across the region.
