The Role: As Product Marketing Manager you will have responsibility for course and subject area positioning and promotion. You will develop tactical marketing plans and create key messaging to drive the success of our courses in market across the Coventry University Group. You will keep well-informed of competitor and market research to develop and implement our go-to-market plans to time and budget, that will inspire our audiences to apply and enrol. This requires a holistic approach to reflect Group strategic priorities. It is a heavily hands-on role, involving a wide variety of marketing activities to help the Group achieve its student recruitment goals. This role will also be a central point of contact to designated internal business partners, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, driving a collaborative and combined effort to student recruitment.

- Using data to deliver robust analysis, insight and reporting to influence operational and strategic decision making; to identify, develop and implement product opportunities aligned to the wider organisational strategy.
- Creating, gaining support for and communicating tactical marketing plans.
- Managing stakeholders, driving projects through to completion, achieving against objectives, and monitoring and reporting on project progress.
- Working well in a team and across teams, challenging and provoking new thinking, gaining the respect and confidence of key stakeholders.
- Using their excellent written and oral communication skills to summarise and interpret relevant information from a broad range of sources.
- Creating content in digital and print formats.
- Managing projects, with the ability to see projects through from inception and briefing to delivery, results and driving action.
- Excellent attention to detail. Proactive approach generates ideas and deals with issues on their own initiative. A positive, can-do attitude, approaching issues positively, seeking solutions where necessary, working diligently and effectively under time pressure.
- Working when required to support the delivery of events which may fall outside of core working hours i.e. evenings and weekends. This includes (but is not limited to) Open Days, Clearing and Student /Staff / Corporate events.
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the role, including travel to campuses across the group.
