We are now offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate educator to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping the future of health‑related education in Oldham. This position will focus initially on our Foundation provision, supporting students as they begin their journey into higher education and helping them build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for success.
Based in the centre of Oldham, you will contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of our health and social care programmes, ensuring they remain innovative, relevant, and aligned with industry standards. This role is based in our Oldham Campus.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, inclusive, and practice‑informed teaching across a range of health‑related modules.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of our programmes.
- Support student learning and success through academic guidance and pastoral care.
- Engage in professional development to ensure teaching reflects current industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to enhance the reputation and reach of the Health team.
You have recent professional experience in a relevant health or social care setting and bring teaching experience—ideally within higher education—with a strong understanding of current developments in the sector. You are passionate about inclusive education and committed to supporting diverse student cohorts, while also being a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to working with others. Additionally, membership of a relevant professional body and experience in professional networking are considered desirable.
