In this role, employees will be operating a van over designated routes and transporting Coventry School Students back and forth from home to school. Drivers will do a pre and post inspection of the vehicle daily. Drivers will fuel and maintain cleanliness of the inside of the vehicle. Attend and participate in safety meetings as needed.

Job Requirements
- Provide a letter of support to the DMV for employees
- Arrange for a physical at predetermined location to obtain the DOT Medical Certification card
- Arrange for the employee to take the written test at the DMV
- Provide the employee with the written test manual and practice test
- Provide the vehicle GU1338 insurance document
- Provide vehicles that have passed the state required safety inspection
- Reimburse employee for all fees related to securing the required license
Employee Responsibilities
- 21 years old, active driver’s license for 3 years, clean driving record for 3 years
- Medical Certification card (Renewed Annually or if 65 and older every 6 months)
- BCI Chauffeur's license
- Take and pass the Pupil Transportation Vehicle Test written test
- Meets all other DOT Licensing Requirements to transport students
- At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
