We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Lecturer to join our team, delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to support our learners in achieving their full potential. You'll play a key role in designing and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that meet curriculum standards and reflect industry needs.

We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to join a growing team, teaching on Level 2, Level 3 and HND provision in Games Design.

You will hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant Games Design/Games Art discipline, a degree in a related field is desirable, and a relevant teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards). Experience and knowledge of specific games design packages including Maya, Substance Painter and Unreal Engine is essential. Recent or current vocational experience in Games Design and of teaching games development, digital graphics and animation would be advantageous.

You must be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for teaching with an ability to motivate and inspire learners to succeed.

  • Relevant teaching qualification or be willing to work towards
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification, or equivalent competency, in Numeracy/Maths and English, or willingness to achieve in a specified timescale
  • Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Games Design/Art related discipline
  • Degree in Games Design/Art related discipline
  • Proficient in the use of, and ability to deliver skills in, industry standard software including 3D modelling software (Maya, 3DS Max, Blender) and Adobe Creative Suite. Unreal Engine is a bonus
  • Industry Experience in Games Design/Art industry
