An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and dynamic professional to join Coventry College as a Curriculum Lead for the Motor Vehicle department.
Reporting to the Curriculum Manager for Motor Vehicle, you will play a key role in ensuring learners' quality of education is exceptional and that they are supported to achieve and exceed their potential. You will drive high expectations and aspirations for the defined area of provision. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team, delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to support our learners in achieving their full potential. You'll play a key role in designing and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that meet curriculum standards and reflect industry needs. You’ll contribute to curriculum development, provide academic and pastoral support to learners, and work closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure an outstanding learning experience. As a Curriculum Lead, you should:
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification, or be willing to work towards
- Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in the relevant subject area
- Evidence continuing professional development
You should also be able to demonstrate:
- Teaching experience in a relevant subject area
- Application of quality improvement and assurance processes, including internal verification
- Successful course and curriculum development
- Experience in improving learner outcomes and quality of education
