Allesley Primary School is situated on the edge of Coventry within a village setting. Our last Ofsted report judged the school to be good. We are a happy and thriving school. We would like to appoint a solution focused and highly effective Teaching Assistant to join our team of talented staff, fantastic children and supportive parents. This is a temporary position until 31 August 2026.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who can offer:
- Supporting the Classroom Teacher during lessons.
- Reporting on pupils' progress and concerns, and liaising with other School staff to ensure pupils' needs are met.
- Supervision of pupils during non-classroom time including extra-curricular activities and school trips.
- Assisting with lesson planning and classroom preparation.
- Setting work where appropriate, and marking.
- Building positive relationships with your pupil/s and driving interaction and positive learning outcomes.
The successful candidate will work within a strong and dedicated team, fantastic children and hardworking colleagues who are passionate about everything they do. We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about supporting students, even if you do not currently hold a Teaching Assistant qualification. For the right candidate, we will provide full support and guidance to help you achieve the necessary TA qualification while working with us.
