Mount Nod Primary is a thriving and vibrant school looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support the Play Leader in the day-to-day running of our before and after school club.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills in order to develop close partnerships with staff, children, and parents. You will have the ability to support the Play Leader in the planning and organisation of appropriate activities for children aged 3 to 11 years and to work within an agreed range of procedures. You will have a good understanding of Health & Safety requirements in order to create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that addresses the needs of the individual child. You will be required to attend staff meetings and training when required.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS, all relevant safeguarding and pre-employment clearances, and the receipt of two satisfactory references.

Following recommendations from Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) for an additional pre-employment check with effect from 1 Sept 22, please note, an online search may form part of this recruitment process.
