It is a very exciting time to be joining Hollyfast Primary School. We are a three-form entry primary, based in the area of Coundon, Coventry. We have a very positive reputation within the local area and being one of the largest schools in Coventry, we are an integral part of the local community. With a growing leadership structure and a brand new vision and values for our school, we are looking forward to recruiting a Family Support Worker to help us grow, achieve and further transform our school.
We are seeking a committed and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our pastoral team in our three-form entry primary school. The successful candidate will work closely with children, families, and school staff to support wellbeing, improve attendance, and remove barriers to learning. The role involves early intervention, safeguarding support, home–school engagement, and working with external agencies.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about working with children and helping them reach beyond the stars
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Works well as part of a team and shows initiative
- Is patient, flexible, and organised
- Has the ability to work effectively with families from diverse backgrounds
- Has experience working in a primary school setting (desirable but not essential)
