The Community Safety Team at Coventry City Council plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of residents. It addresses a wide range of issues, from crime prevention and anti-social behaviour to community cohesion. What is the job role?
We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join as a Community Warden. As a Community Warden, you will provide a reassuring uniformed patrol presence in the city, addressing concerns such as ASB and serious violence through targeted operations and patrols in areas of greatest need. You will focus on patrols in specified geographic locations, engage positively with the community, provide education and enforce local regulations when necessary. The role requires shift work between 11am and 10pm, including weekends, with possible changes in the future.
