Are you an organised, proactive, and people-focused administrator looking to build a career in Human Resources? Coventry City Football Club and Coventry Building Society Arena are looking for a People Administrator to join our People & Culture team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of the employee lifecycle within a unique environment that combines professional sport and entertainment.
Working closely with the HR Advisor and wider People & Culture team, you'll play a key role in delivering an efficient and professional HR service, supporting colleagues across both the Football Club and Arena business.
The Role
- Providing administrative support across a wide range of HR activities, including:
- Supporting recruitment campaigns, interview scheduling, onboarding and pre-employment checks.
- Preparing contracts, offer letters and employee correspondence.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Supporting payroll preparation and benefits administration.
- Monitoring absence, holiday and leave records.
- Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers.
- Assisting with employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives and HR projects.
- Supporting compliance with employment legislation, policies and HR procedures.

- An excellent communicator with a professional and approachable manner.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and confident learning new systems.
- Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have
- Experience in an HR Administration, People Administration or Office Administration role.
- Knowledge of HR processes and employment legislation.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification (or are working towards one).
- Experience within sport, hospitality, events or leisure sectors.
