Place of work: Coventry City Football Club store at the Coventry Building Society Arena

Hours of work: Early, morning, afternoon and evening shifts will be available on both matchday and non-matchdays.

After a season that saw the club return to the Premier League after 25 years and record-breaking attendance, there has never been a more exciting time for Coventry City Football Club and the city and fans it represents. Every role will play a part in the club’s continued success, and as a Retail Assistant you will be at the forefront of making sure we provide world class customer service to our fans. From helping parents pick out their child’s first ever kit to manning the tills on a matchday, you will play an important role in creating unforgettable memories at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Previous retail experience is desired, but The Club will review applications from anyone who is driven, organised and committed.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Customer Service: Being on the shop floor and willing to help customers with their queries
  • Till Operations: Processing transactions in an efficient and personable way
  • Stock management: Helping to keep the back of house area organised so we can operate efficiently
  • Store replenishment: Being proactive with restocking the shelves, especially on our busier days
  • Shirt printing (not an absolute requirement): Turning an item of clothing into something truly personal to that fan
  • Setting up of pop-up units: Making sure we are visible around the ground on a matchday
