Location: Coventry Building Society Arena, Sky Blue Lodge (Ryton-on-Dunsmore) and on location at Coventry City’s home and away fixtures.
Hours of work: Full-time. Please note, working in the club\'s content team will involve evenings and weekends in line with the football team’s calendar of activities.
We have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our fabulous Content team who are looking for a talented and committed Content Assistant to perform a key role within Coventry City Football Club, where everyone dreams big, aims high and plays up in everything we do.
Coventry City FC is looking for a Content Assistant, with at least 2-3 years of experience, who can assist with the rapid growth of the Club’s social media channels by creating content to facilitate marketing campaigns and improve day-to-day football coverage. EXPECTED RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
- Assist with the planning, creation and delivery of content for the Club\'s digital channels.
- Posting and publishing directly to our digital channels, ensuring we maintain a professional consistent tone.
- Manage day-to-day maintenance of platforms, keep all digital platforms fresh, attractive and on brand.
- Track the performance of our digital output.
- Create and post mobile-first content tailored for the Club’s platforms, with a focus on vertical video.
- Liaise directly with the Club’s Communications Team to ensure consistency across all Club output.
YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- 2-3 years experience working in a content creation or social media role, preferably in professional sports.
- The ability to transform great ideas into engaging content.
- Knowledge of content plan creation and how to turn a brief into distinct content.
- Experience posting onto social media platforms such as, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X.
- Experience using Meta Business Suite and other social media tracking tools to build reports that review performance.
- Some experience using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro and CapCut, for cutting, clipping, use of templates etc. This is not a pure video editor / graphic design role, but the ability to work with templates and manipulate existing material is important.
- Possess strong conceptual thinking with a sharp attention to detail.
